Visit the incredible Mount Teide on the beautiful island of Tenerife. Standing at over 3,700m tall, El Teide’s summit is the highest point in Spain!
Driving to the base car park from the north or south of the island offers amazing views over the Teide National Park. On reaching the base car park you will board the cable car, which will take you to a height of 3,555m where you can marvel at the beauty of your surroundings but don’t forget a coat, it is much cooler up here!
The Mount Teide cable car and the mountain itself are very popular and tickets sell very quickly so please book well in advance to avoid disappointment!
Opening hours are generally between 9am to 3pm.

If you would like to use the included physical audio-guide, it is required to leave either a passport/ID or a refundable deposit of €50, this will be returned on the audio-guide being returned.
For safety reasons, this experience is not suitable for people with physical disabilities, cardiovascular problems, pregnant people or children under the age of 3 years old. In the rare event that there is an issue with the cable car, you will need to make the decent by foot along mountain trails with rugged terrain.

The easiest way to reach the Mount Teide cable car is via car but if you don't have access to one then it may be easier for you to join a tour with excursions. We can organise tours with transport, just give us a call!
From the North - Join the TF-21, which takes you across the Teide National Park to the Mount Teide Cable Car parking area.
From the South - Join the TF-51, which eventually turns into the TF-21 and takes you across the Teide Nation Park to the Mount Teide Cable Car parking area.
